The scale factor for the uniform distribution is used to compute the maximum and minimum value. Minimum value = ( 1 - Scale factor ) * ( mean ) and Maximum value = ( 1 + Scale Factor ) * mean

If you enter a value of zero for either the normal or the uniform distribution types, you should enter the standard deviation for the scale parameter. This allows you to generate a distribution around zero.

A None distribution is the same as a constant value and the scale parameter is ignored.

The computed distribution type is a "pseudo-distribution type". It will generate a distribution based on each set of input variables. For example, if the computed distribution type is selected for x and the default value is x = y/z, then after values for y and z are generated according to their respective distributions, the values for x will be calculated by division. The scale parameter is ignored for this distribution.
